Wikipedia says “Cloud Atlas” is the most expensive independent film ever made ($128.5MM to make, $130.5MM box office revenue).
I checked out the Wiki article on “List of most expensive films” (included mainstream and indy films) and it didn’t make the top 100, so I’m guessing it’s the 138th most expensive film ever.
In case you’re wondering, “Pirates of the Caribbean: On Stranger Tides” cost an estimated $378.5MM (the most expensive ever), while “Robin Hood”, “Terminator Genisys”, and “Alexander” tied for 100th most expensive film ever at $155MM each.
I watched Cloud Atlas some months ago and parts of it were visually amazing but it was completely lacking that thing that makes movie stick with me and causes me to wake up a couple days later with the story still on my mind. “Cloud Atlas” was exciting and boring and kind of dumb all at the same time.
I’m not here to diss specific other online courses.
But… I am here to diss those that lack solid fundamentals. Those that don’t provide enough structure, those that lack support, and those that don’t build in accountability.
My Positioning Course won’t be missing those critical elements.
